GENERAL INFORMATION

The objective of the specific training course on auditing general hygiene requirements and control procedures based on the HACCP principles developed by food business operators under the BTSF initiative is to develop the ability to conduct audits to verify the proper implementation of HACCP-based systems by food business operators, taking into account their specificities and particularities and with a flexible approach. Providing training on such control techniques will assist in developing a consistent approach across the Member States and in providing assurances that the audit findings in different reports may be comparable. This training session is addressed both to officials from Competent Authorities involved in planning and control activities (preferably  at central level), and field inspectors involved in control activities in food establishments. At the end of the course it is intended that the participants can perform their tasks and guarantee the verification of compliance with the established basic and specific HACCP rules.

TRAINING SESSION DATES

The training session will be held from 25 to 29 March 2019 in Budapest, Hungary.
