General information

The European Commission Directorate-General for Health and Consumers is organising a set of 8 training sessions in the field of Prevention, Control and Eradication of Transmissible Spongiform Encephalopaties and Animal by-Products as part of the Better Training for Safer Food initiative.


Eight training sessions will be held in 2019/2020 in three countries :

Portugal

Croatia/Slovenia

France


This is an advanced training course addressed to officials from Competent Authorities involved in the prevention, control and eradication of Transmissible Spongiform Encephalopathies and official control of Animal By-Products. The preferred target audience are the delegates who followed the BTSF course on ABP and/or TSE in the past and/or the e-learning BTSF module.


Identified participants should be:

· Official staff with adequate professional experience, familiar with the relevant EU legislation and prevention, control and eradication of Transmissible Spongiform Encephalopathies and official control of Animal By-Products

· In a position to provide training to other colleagues and share the experience following their attendance to the training.


This training course is being implemented by JVL Consulting.
